Islam Is Meant To Make Our Lives Easy
Islam came to our lives to make our lives easy. Allah (SWT) makes our lives easy, but we make it hard on ourselves. When we observe Allah (SWT), Allah will help us and guide us insha allah.
Allah (SWT) says in Surat Al-Insharah "Ina ma il usri yusra, fa in ma il usri yusra." "With every hardship there is something easy" and He repeated it twice. So He will give us 2 things to make it easier on us. Remember, Allah (SWT) will not give us something in life that we cannot handle. If something hard or difficult does come along, you can handle it and over come it. Otherwise Allah (SWT) would not have put it on you. Hardship is a part of life, but Allah (SWT)is merciful and is always with us.
The Prophet (PBUH) also says that there are 3 things in life that a person is not held accountable for. They are forgetfulness, mistakes, and forcible doings. Allah (SWT) will forgive us so long as we learn from the past and do not repeat it again and Allah (SWT) loves those who keep improving themselves.
Islam is as simple as just mentioning "La ilaha ila Allah" "There is no God but Allah". When we say it, we find that our tongues are moist, but when we talk about nonsense, we find that our mouths go dry. Subhanallah!
Also if we look at the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Prophet prayed in congregation over 30,000 times. But, nobody knows if he prayed and read surat Al-Fatiha loudly or not. The scholars until this day argue "If you pray, do you read surat Al-Fatiha out loud or not?" But Islam being as easy as it is, looks past these differences and so it does not matter whether you read it loudly or not and Allah (SWT) is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Islam is based solely on a persons intentions. Its the intention that counts. If your intentions are pure, Allah (SWT) will accept insha'allah. It is not up to us to judge a person. Leave the judging and punishing up to Allah (SWT) because He knows their intentions and He knows best.
The Prophet (PBUH) says "When you have a question, ask your heart. Your heart is the best indicator to the truth."
Islam is easy and if we follow it properly, we'll find that it helps us and helps our familes and makes our lives easy insha'allah.
